GreenFaith welcomes all people who want to deepen the relationship
between their spiritual lives and the environment and who
want to work for a healthy environment.
Individual Membership
GreenFaith’s Individual Members are
from diverse communities and backgrounds, but they share
a commitment to putting their religious or spiritual beliefs
into action for the earth.
Individual Membership costs $35/year
($25/year for students and senior citizens).
Members receive
the following benefits:
- Individual Members receive GreenFaith’s
quarterly newsletter, containing information about GreenFaith’s
programs, tips for green living, environmental justice
advocacy resources, and writing exploring the relationship
between religion and the earth.
- Members also receive GreenFaith’s
Individual Eco-Religious Audit Tool for individuals, which
enables them to assess and improve their own relationship
with and impact on the earth.
Members who join at the $100 level receive the following
additional benefit:
- An optional Sustainable Living coaching session with
GreenFaith staff, who discuss the results of your Eco-Religious
Audit with you and help you identify priority goals for
greening your life for the coming year.
Individual Members provide important support
for GreenFaith’s
work.

Institutional Membership
GreenFaith’s Institutional Members
are from diverse religious traditions and communities, but
share a commitment to putting their communities’ beliefs
and teachings into action for the earth.
- An Institutional
Membership costs:
- $150 for institutions with budgets under
$200,000/year
$200 for institutions with budgets of $200,000
- $500,000
$300 for institutions with budgets over $500,000
Institutional Members receive a number of benefits:
- GreenFaith’s quarterly newsletter
- GreenFaith’s Institutional
Eco-Religious Audit Tool
- GreenFaith’s Action Alerts
on environmental legislation
- A conference call with GreenFaith
staff for the institution’s
Green Team at the beginning of the year to plan activities
and set goals for the coming year
- A conference call with the institution’s
Green Team mid-way through the year to revisit plans
for activity and goals.
