Trek to the Turbines

BI Wind Farm

Up and down the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, state governments are moving to develop offshore wind farms.

Join us on Aug. 27 for our Trek to the Turbines, a 3-hour ferryboat tour of the Block Island Wind Farm - the only US offshore wind farm.  Reserve a space now - suggested donation $25.

The tour begins at 2:30 at the Quonset Point, RI pier, and returns there at 5:30 pm.  Before the tour, you'll be invited to join us for a lunch and briefing to learn from experts about the environmental and job-creation benefits of offshore wind.

GreenFaith will charter a bus from northern NJ, just 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, to the tour and back.  We'll leave early in the morning on Aug. 27, and return late that same day.  Sign up to reserve a space.

In the weeks following the tour, join us and visit state leaders, urging them to make a bold, ambitious commitment to environmentally responsible offshore wind development.
