Meeting the Sacred in Creation: GreenFaith’s
Interfaith Environmental Retreats
GreenFaith has established a program of interfaith
environmental retreats that provide clergy and lay people
of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds the opportunity
to strengthen and deepen their relationship with the sacred
in nature.
These multi-day retreats give their participants
the gift of time apart from their daily lives, in a natural
setting, in the company of others engaged in the same journey,
and with the guidance of skillful leaders.
The retreats
offer participants time for daily silent meditation, often
outdoors, time to discuss their spiritual experiences,
including exploring points of connection between these experiences
and their own spiritual traditions, and support in planning
how to integrate a stronger connection to nature into everyday
life.
Upcoming Retreats: April, May & October 2007
