GreenFaith's "Lighting The Way" Program
The solar energy marketplace in New Jersey
is dynamic and fast-changing. Through our Lighting the Way
program, GreenFaith and its partner/installer Sun Farm Network
(www.sunfarmnetwork.com)
help religious institutions in New Jersey participate in
that marketplace by installing solar electric systems on
their buildings. Since 2003, 23 religious institutions around
New Jersey have celebrated the installation of solar energy
systems. These solar arrays are hard at work generating
clean, renewable energy--preventing over 8,536,000 pounds
of greenhouse gas emissions from entering earth’s atmosphere
over the next 20 years. Our 23 Lighting the Way sites show
that renewable energy can become reality now.
"Lighting the Way" Success Stories:
Among the 23 religious institutions "Lighting the
Way" has helped since 2003, here are four that illustrate
the kinds of approaches and processes that can lead to success.
