ELCA Congregations and GreenFaith

GreenFaith is collaborating with Lutherans Restoring Creation to provide 20 tuition subsidies for ELCA congregations interested in joining the Certification Program.

GreenFaith and Lutherans Restoring Creation are partnering to bring ELCA congregations nationwide into the GreenFaith Certification Program.  This 2 year program provides extensive resources, one-on-one coaching, support and networking opportunities to help congregations do environmental work holistically and successfully.

GreenFaith is providing 50% tuition discounts to 20 ELCA congregations.  Subsidies are first-come-first-serve.

On February 25th at 8 pm ET, GreenFaith is offering a webinar to help churches learn more about the Certification Program, and hear stories from participating sites.  Register for the February 25th webinar.

Lutherans Restoring Creation (LRC) is a grassroots movement promoting care for creation in the life and mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) – the largest Lutheran denomination in North America.

“GreenFaith is privileged to have the opportunity to work with Lutherans Restoring Creation,” said Fletcher Harper, GreenFaith’s Executive Director.  “And we look forward to bringing ELCA congregations into the GreenFaith Certification Program.”
